How are the star ratings determined for tyre fitters?

All of the star ratings within the CompareTyrePrices.com system are based on customer reviews from users booking tyre fittings.

To determine a fitting centre's review score, we use the weighted average of multiple sources (where available) to determine a rating out of 5 stars (rounded up to the nearest half star):

Net Promoter Score

The Net Promoter Score is an index ranging from -100 to 100 (which we have converted to a scale of 0-5) that measures the willingness of customers to recommend a company's products or services to others. It is used as a proxy for gauging the customer's overall satisfaction with a company's product or service and the customer's loyalty to the brand.

Google Reviews

Google Reviews are an integrated feature within Google My Business and Google Maps. They allow customers to publicly post a review on Google about their experience with a business and its service and products. The score is uses a rating out of 5 which translates directly to our star rating.

Note: Where there is insufficient review data, we will omit the star rating for a tyre fitter.
